1. Nature and Scope of PDI
The Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) conducted by Car PDI Check is an independent, non-intrusive visual and diagnostic evaluation of the vehicle to detect manufacturing defects, transit damage, repainting, panel misalignments, fluid levels, tyre conditions, electrical accessories, and diagnostic trouble codes prior to taking delivery.
2. Dealership Access & Permission
The customer is responsible for obtaining authorization from the car dealership or showroom to allow our certified inspector access to the vehicle for inspection.
3. Non-Destructive Inspection
Our inspectors conduct non-invasive visual examinations, paint depth measurements, and diagnostic port scanning. Under no circumstances will inspectors dismantle, disassemble, or alter vehicle components.
4. Independent Third-Party Assessment
The inspection report represents the vehicle's observed condition at the exact time and date of inspection. It does not replace the manufacturer's warranty, roadworthiness certification, or insurance policy.
5. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Any request to reschedule or cancel an appointment must be communicated at least 3 hours prior to the scheduled time slot to avoid convenience charges.
6. Acceptance of Findings
The final decision to accept or reject the vehicle from the dealer/OEM rests solely with the customer.
